I was watching the news this morning and a weird question hit me- Does terrorism really exist? I don't have a justification for this question, but it almost seems that we create terrorism out of anything and everything. We just need a tiny bit of opportunity and we are good to go. I don't know why it hit me , so I am going to stop here

I say yes. If you have an issue with the government, but take it out on innocent people, then you could call it manipulative and bullying, but I say it's terrorism.

I have been asking myself the same question for the past few years.
The term "Terrorism" is used to try to define a selective group of people, mainly muslims, who do not have the means to fight back using conventional methods.
Additionally, what millions accept to be "Terrorism" is exxagerated beyond human proportions. Real-life "Terrorism" exists on a miniscule scale. One of negligible damage and locality.
And finally, "Terrorism" is laregely a media-created mindframe that the western world uses to justify their imperialistic actions towards poorer countries that have yet to put their natural resources into extinction.
